Fertilize Your Lawn

If you only fertilize your lawn ONLY once per year, this is the best time to do it! Fertilizing in the fall provides nutrients for the roots to grow deeper they store these nutrients for spring. It also replaces nutrients depleted during the scorching hot months of the summer. The best time to fertilize is early September (keeping a 4- 6 foot buffer between water) and then one more time 6-8 week later.

Taking care of your lawn in the fall will help your lawn stand a better chance in the spring. You should take care of your lawn throughout the year. But doing these simple steps this fall can help get you off to a great start in the spring.
